Evaluation Question 6

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing the product?

What is the process you went through to create your product?

Before i started making my magazine , i started looking at existing RnB and hip pop magazines such as VIBE,RnB&NME.
the first thing i made was my DPS. I made most of this page on Microsoft power point such as all the text and putting everything together. However when it came to my picture and editing the picture i done all this on Photoshop to give my picture a more professional look and make it look very vivid. After this i moved on and started making my front cover. I edited all my pictures on Photoshop, however when it came to my front cover, I done everything on Photoshop apart from my button which i done on power point.

I then started constructing my contents page but i done all of this on power point because it gave me more freedom to move texts and images about.

How have you used an SLR or bridge camera?
When it came to taking pictures for my magazine, i made sure that they were all taken with an SLR camera to get the best quality pictures.

To ensure all pictures were taken correctly and to the best possible standard, i had to make sure that i learned all the camera function and understood them well such as zoom, blur back ground, effects etc.

Any websites used during your production process?
Through my whole production of making my magazine, i used :
Eblogger- to present all my work

Prezi- to make most of my presentational work and analysis on.

Google search engine- to get some magazine images

Finally i used www.rnbHow have you used web applications?magazine.com to get some ideas for my genre

What post production programmes have you used?
when editing my pictures, i used Photoshop because of the high level of editing techniques this software has. I used this programme to crop, blur, change colour, brighten up my pictures and combine texts and images together.

I also used power point to help me with the layouts of my DPS and contents page.

How have you used web applications?
With most of my work, I used prezi to present all my research and analysis. On the other hand when it came to my evaluation, i used powtoons, emaze, youtube and empressr.
